I needed a pair of soft, cozy shorts for a long car trip to take a kid to college and back home. I wear a 22 and bought a 3X. Size wise, that was good. These are pretty blah shorts and I'm returning them. They hit me half-way down my knee and that length looked weird. I'm tall, so this was surprising. The wide elastic waistband is comfortable when standing up, but sitting down, it doubles over, and cuts me in half. The ties on the waistband are purely decorative and not functional. If I would have kept the shorts, I would have just cut the ties off, as all they do is add bulk to an already plus-sized person. Returning these shorts, as they didn't fit my needs. The search continues.
