My overall rating is based on using a DAP with separate DACs and amplifier. In my opinion, when used with a regular iPod or phone, they sound like fire in a music bin. However, if you have an amp or DAP that's better than an iPod, you might like it. They have a flat EQ and everything is pretty balanced. I use the cut out pillows provided and they are very comfortable. The braided cable prevents tangling. I would definitely use them over a similarly priced IEM based on comfort alone, but the flat response helps. I have plenty of headphones and IEMs, both wired and wireless, but I'm far from an audiophile. I just like having a lot of options. Found them while browsing and found that they have a higher rating than I thought they would. So I decided to try them out for $10. I agree so far.
