Activated charcoal can do more than you probably know. Each set keeps something handy.

I use activated carbon powder. To treat external wounds such as bed bug bites, wasp bites, blisters on hands, heels, toes when the blister is about to burst. Scratches, any cuts on my skin that don't need stitches. Pimples It works well for infections. I'll have tool slips, from time to time I'll poke my hand with a screwdriver. Plaster 1st aid ointment. And infection is inevitable. AC powder was never dripped to dry the infection, I use rubbing alcohol. This will kill the infection, you need to keep it tightly closed. Because it also killed good skin cells. Oh, and it hurts. My coal has never hurt me. But he got the poison oak right off my skin. If a snake bites me, I'll put it on the bite on the way to the hospital. It has so many uses that I recommend everyone to get it. These are the things I've personally used it for as well as other things like making a makeshift water filter. When making an activated charcoal mask, don't let it get wet and try to breathe through it. Like I said, it has so many uses that it's really fun not having one at home. Spiders, scorpions, mosquitoes, hornets. Then there are all of your body's internal detoxification uses. The sores in your mouth next to your cheek are swollen next time, so you keep biting them. I would not use it for a sinus infection or near infection. Just because of the way the powder would have to get to the infection and get back out of your body. Can be used in underwear and socks like baby powder. And I've never had a problem getting charcoal off my body anywhere. However, more than once I couldn't wipe the dry powder off me, and each time I tried it only made me worse. When mixed with sweat, it doesn't turn black or run down the body. Another cool thing about it is when it gets damp or wet when you're making small hydration packs or cans. For example, I have a few little things I made that I put in my medicine bottles, they not only keep the medicine dry but also keep it from getting smelly. I use cloth or not, not sure if it's about the same as a tea bag. I had a large sheet of this material, I cut what I needed, folded it, put charcoal inside and glued it. If they feel wet or whatever, they take on the smell of the medicine bottle. A slightly low fire in the stove will dry all moisture. It is by no means sterile after you use it. You can wash it in something and then put it on a baking sheet and turn on the oven very high. It seems to me a kind of work like a dry autoclave. But for all the years I put it in medicine bottles. I only had to take each one out and put it in the oven twice. Sorry for the novel, I was just really excited.
