Review on πŸŒ„ AVTREK Compass Watch with Pedometer and Calorie Tracker, Altimeter Barometer Thermometer Temperature, Stylish Waterproof Military Army Outdoor Sport Digital Mountaineering Watch for Men and Women by Sara Terry

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The temperature measurements were very inaccurate.

You're almost there, that would be a pretty amazing price for an ABC watch if everything worked properly. For me, the temperature was far away (tried 2 different hours). I didn't like the temperature on the main time display. Good: time functions, barometer works, compass works. All in all buttons/configs made sense to me. Good: The display is a little harder to read when it's not in direct sunlight or when it's not dark enough for the light to penetrate really well. Good: The light only stays on for a maximum of 5 seconds. Pressing the buttons with the lights on doesn't increase this time either, it would really help. The Bad: Temperature was way off on both watches I tried. More on what I saw with various sensors and features: Baro: When it turned out to be under 1.0 inches of mercury, I adjusted it to match the local airport. I haven't given him enough time to see how honestly he keeps track. Old: With the barometer installed, the altitude was 30 feet below what Google says, so I'd say pretty good. I didn't have many mountains to really test. The display allows you to reset the current altitude and view the difference value or view a slight trend indicator. Compass: Compared to a basic mountaineering compass, the compass works well (after light calibration). Allows you to adjust the magnetic declination. You can also tie the current heading to the displayed azimuth value. The small circular dial even displays the azimuth line and magnetic north. Temperature: In the state of delivery, the temperature seemed to correspond almost to the current value. However, once I started wearing it, the value skyrocketed. However, there is an adjustment you can make for the temperature, but after many, many attempts to balance my body heat (obviously), I just couldn't track it well. Even without wearing it, it was very slow to respond to temperature changes (even when I press the baro button to force a recalculation). I actually returned the watch thinking it was broken only to find the replacement watch did the same. The cheapest kitchen thermometer will give you better and faster results. If I could just turn off the temperature completely, I'd leave this watch alone. "Weather": The instructions were very vague, but I think you set the little weather icon to reflect the current weather, and it will likely change based on barometric pressure (I've never seen it). Time Functions: Pedo: I haven't had a chance to test it other than updating it. Settings - Height and Step Size. It then counts kilometers driven, kcal, minutes (driven I guess?), Logging: It stores pedophilia information for the last 15 days. Stopwatch: worked well, basic stopwatch. Timer (countdown): worked well. 4 different timers, a snooze timer and the ability to count down the time. World Clock: A nice feature that allows you to view the time for a selection of major cities around the world along with your current time.
