Where do you even start with these A40s? I already had two or three pairs of Astro A10s and decided it was time to switch to their big brother. What a mistake. From the moment I unboxed the A40s I admired the solid frame and design, but that's where the positives end. Cons: Even at maximum volume, they're half as quick to respond to noise as the A10. The microphone is an absolute joke. Half the time it doesn't even work due to a defect in the bezels on the side. This keeps Jack from fully connecting. When it works, it picks up too much sound in the room with you. All in all a waste of $150. I'm glad Revain was able to help me through the refund process and I was able to purchase a better pair in the Steel Series Arctis 7s.
