Solved my problem best in Computers & Accessories

Received this for my 2010 WD My Book external hard drive as the device is no longer connected to my laptop, both new and old, when connected via USB. I thought it might be the cable that broke and it really was. This works great now and the thicker cable lasts much longer and I now have USB 3.0 instead of 2.0 so data transfer is faster. Ideal.
