Review on πŸ”¦ Amico Ultra Thin Adjustable Can Killer Brightness by James Womble

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Nice Lights on Recessed Lights

I used them to retrofit existing can lights. The biggest challenge was getting the old cans out of the existing holes in the ceiling. The trim rings on the new headlights were too small to fully cover the existing hole so I used the old trim rings by placing the old trim ring on the new bracket. I used WAGO connectors which made the wiring very easy. The only downside to these lights is that the boxes are quite flimsy and will bend easily when the knockout plug is removed. I used masking tape to completely wrap the entire lid and box so the lid doesn't open once installed in the ceiling void.

Pros
  • High Brightness: Slim 6 inch lights use the world's best LED chips with higher lumen output and less power. The 1000LM consumes 12W, equivalent to a 100W halogen bulb, saving up to 90% on energy bills.
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model
