My kids got these for Easter and it was one of the first gifts they wanted to open. We followed the instructions on the back of the container (1 tablespoon of pearls and 8 cups of water). Let them soak overnight to get the full effect. The kids (6 and 7 years old) like them a lot ("They are so cool!"). They plan to add some of their slime kits that they will make at home. This container contains a lot of beads so there will be plenty of fun for the foreseeable future. Don't throw away the entire container at once! Use 1 tablespoon with 8 cups of water at a time!
