I thought these shoes would fall apart when I took them to Zion Canyon and hiked the Narrows; However, I was pleased to find that they didn't even show any tears in the fabric after the hike! My friends and I bought them because they're cheap, and we're cheap this summer, especially going to the Narrows on our trip to Zion. As a result, we've walked 7 hours straight in these boots, on water, on uneven rocks that we've kicked countless times, and all of our shoes have survived without falling apart. In addition, they showed no damage! (Check out these guys in 2 months - they're a little dirty but in fantastic shape). I still use my pair of kayaks in my play boat - I need something to slide on with a thin sole and tread. To be honest I really think these shoes are a great product for the price and compared to other priced water boots they are good too.
