Review on DOGain Candelabra Equivalent for Improved Compatibility and SEO by Ashley Chaney

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Candelabra lamps are easy to install and control with an easy-to-use app.

It took me about 10 minutes to get the bulbs working. Which isn't bad because I've never done it before. Other bulbs I've had came with a remote control for each bulb that only responded as a group when everyone was within range. Not this one. They use an app (Android is what I have and have used) but is also available on IOS so you can customize and manage it individually or in user groups (see photo). When you first turn on the bulb in a multi-bulb candelabra lamp like mine, you start the pairing mode by turning on and off three times. Once you set them up, you can just use the app instead of switching. If you don't set them up within a few minutes, they'll exit pairing mode and stop blinking. But the blinking is what you want to go into the app and find it. I found it didn't work well initially at about 10 feet, so I went straight to the lamp and set it up there. No problem if I did. Now that they're set up, I can be anywhere in my apartment and control them as long as I'm Wi-Fi enabled. I put them all together as a group for their own reasons; and love the ability to control everything at once, but you can still manipulate each bulb individually (e.g. turn off some) if you like. These bulbs are really cool and I paid about $58 with taxes to have them shipped through FBA at the time of this review. That's about £11.60 for a bulb, which I think is reasonable, especially given all they're capable of. I'm including a video of a simple light show as well as a static photo of them in a pink hue. You are really cool. :) I am very happy with them. Another important thing: I no longer have to go to the lamp to turn it on, turn it on and off individually or in groups, and light shows, all in the app. . Nice app and easy setup for it, just your email address and password. You'll need your WiFi password, and to set it up you'll need to use WPA2 with the lightbulbs and AES encryption in my case, which is how my router was configured after all. Make sure you are in the 2.4 GHz band. They will not appear if you select the 5 GHz option. Overall I think they are great and the price is fair. There are many pre-made light shows here and this was the preset called Gorgeous when you play the video.
