I sell jewelry and wanted it for my shop window. Short necklaces fit. In terms of durability, everything is solid except for the stand. It's a much cheaper thin cardboard box, but if you're careful you should be fine. I would take a picture but today I gave it away. She sells a popular line of jewelry and can't use them on necklaces (not long enough), but she will use them on bracelets. It would almost be better if the hangers were at the back to allow the necklaces to drape and add a few inches to allow the long necklaces to hang nicely. Another problem, not exactly a product defect. I have a cat! And cat hair is attracted to black velvet like a magnet! In fact, if they were a few inches taller I'd probably keep them. It would also be a nice addition if there were a rubber band or two to wrap around the windows for those of us who do jewelry displays. That would make it easier for them to travel.
