I bought this for my Canon 5D Mark IV. It was not formatted in the camera or on my computer. Camera Warning: Cannot be formatted (or something like that). I bought a 256GB Kingston SD card for SD storage in my camera and it worked great. The old CompactFlash cards I had also worked fine. It would be nice to do some quality testing from Komputer Bay.
