It's better than the original.

This one just survived the summer replacing the broken original. It's never dropped, even at 100 degrees, and it's tighter on the GPS than Garmin's original, to the point that it took a bit of hacking to knock the device out of the sphere. Not once did it stick to the windshield. I wish the OEM would say the same.
