Review on Sony DEJ011 Portable Walkman CD Player: Must-have Classic (Discontinued by Manufacturer) by James Edwards

I have the same problem as another customer. I just received this device and it stops - turns off - in the same place after about 10-15 minutes; Repeats this error of the @ function in the exact same place. I replaced the batteries with new ones - from the AA pack and exactly the same flaw - the battery charge indicator shows a full charge on the battery icon. I contacted SONY and spoke to them and finally I was "told" to return it to the seller as "it sounds like an internal error". Disappointed and a bit reluctant to try another Sony CD Walkman although this unit is perfect for what it was designed for and sounds great - good skip protection. I try a different one and then look for something else. Interesting to find the exact same error in One Star List. not really two stars [dislike] but could have been five stars if reliable. I've had the replacement unit for two months now and love it; I can't predict long-term reliability, but if it lasts as long as my old 8GB iPod, six years or a little more, then this CD player will be my five stars - four stars so far! The sound quality and battery life are excellent, and we use headphones we got from W Mart for our iPods. It's all good, and thank you, Revane. good all-round service!
