Wow. I almost had to book a hotel room the next day after discovering the smell of a dead mouse wafting from our bedroom closet. Even with the doors closed, I felt nauseous every time I walked into our bedroom. I immediately went to Amazon for a solution. I've used odor absorbing bags before when we noticed the smell of a dead mouse coming from our daughter's toilet, but it took a few days for the odor to completely go away. I wouldn't advise masking the smell with an air freshener; it's just a rotten mix of the smell of death and flowers. puke. Well I thought a product called RatSorb might be worth trying and it suddenly sold out on Amazon Prime. I looked out the window anxiously, waiting for the postman to arrive and rushed to the mailbox as soon as I saw him! I literally poured liquid on three cotton balls (about half a bottle), put them in a plastic cup and, holding my breath, opened the closet doors. I placed the mug on the top shelf of the cupboard and quickly closed the doors. I'm not kidding, 4 hours later I went back to my bedroom and sniffed. There is no dead smell at all. The peppery foul smell of death is no more! I think it's a miracle. They need magic bottles or something! I highly recommend this product. What I don't recommend is using poison to kill your rodent problem.
