I'm playing my "loudest" old record right now and can't believe this is the same one I've listened to all these years! I use the Staticide Cloth that came with the sprayer, but I prefer to spray the cleaner directly onto the velvet record cleaning brush I have. Following the instructions I saw on YouTube, I placed the record on the platter, spun it, sprayed the cleaner onto the velvet brush (not the record) and then gently stroked the velvet brush over the record while it was spinning. Turn on the pen for playback. This record hasn't been this quiet since it was brand new! Still a few pops and pops from years of playing and editing, but only a fraction of what it was. Very happy with this cleaner.
