At first I was looking for a replacement lid for my trusty old jar and was considering adding a handle as it was always a bit awkward without it, especially while driving. As I was choosing my accessories I was about to spend $20 when I discovered this great purchase. I've used my Albor a few times and it REALLY keeps my coffee hotter longer, even if I forgot the last 3 or 4 ounces in a few extra hours. The first time I filled it with hot coffee and then turned it completely upside down over the sink. I waited over 3 minutes and not a single drop came out. The handle is very snug in place, and since it only attaches to the top of the glass, the device still fits easily into my small car's cup holders - something with a double ring. A pen would get in the way. The thickness of the grip is particularly comfortable, although I wish there was a notch for a pinky or ring finger instead of a smooth vertical ridge. This would be a great upgrade that would allow users with larger hands to feel more ergonomic. The lid's sealed design (with silicone stopper) makes it a little tricky to clean as it doesn't come apart. But I'll gladly trade that minor inconvenience for the tightest lid I've ever used, and you can easily get into the crevices with a soft Oxo bottle brush. The rim of the lid is a bit thinner than most with a tapered channel all the way to the mouth and this prevents most of the annoying drips I usually experience with other glass lids. I LOVE the two tone stainless steel finish. I'd also like to see replacement lids and handles sold separately (hint, tip).
