I have bought 5 of these drives in the last 6 months and have used them for both Time Machine and Carbon Copy Cloner on several new iMacs bought in March/April. 2 of them are already FAILED (less than 5 months in production)! I first spent an hour on the phone with Revain tech support (because I was trying to get a refund). I was sent to Seagate for another two hours of interesting and stimulating Hindinglish talks. I have confidential company documents on both failed drives, so I don't want to send them back for a refund. Seagate came up with an insane destroy-then-refund that would have taken another 4 hours to complete. net result? NO REFUND. NO TICKETS, NO LAUNDRY! If you are planning to buy one of these. Plan for him to crash in the middle of the night before he's 6 months old!
