We adopted an 8 month old beagle puppy who loves to chew on everything. The only solution was to put them in a box unattended. The only problem is that she keeps breaking out of the metal box with sheer willpower, bending the bars until the locking mechanism breaks. She then showed off her insane chewing skills, chewing on the carpet, my other dog's dog bed, the night light she ripped out of the outlet, the noise canceller she ripped out of the other outlet, and the air plug. She pulled the air purifier from another outlet. When I got home she was fumbling with the door frame. In an hour. I tried to lean the metal box door against the wall. When she got home, the box was completely removed from the wall and she was gone again. That's why I bought this box. As soon as I received it, I was concerned because the "windows" were plastic. I was sure she would gnaw through those windows. But months later, that box is still holding her. There are a lot of chew marks on the plastic window screen, but she didn't manage to get through it. She keeps taking the lid off the lock on the drawer but she can't get out and I just put the plastic lid back on like new. Very happy with the new box. Until she could be housebroken, I needed a way to keep her in line. That helped. Highly recommended for all destructive dogs!
