Everyone is different when it comes to headphones. I have very expensive Sonys and they are very good, but not suitable for certain times. Especially for practice. They tend to come loose when I ride the bike. So I'm willing to sacrifice sound quality for headphones that fit a little tighter. This is compliant. My transmorts don't have the strongest signal and the audio cuts out a bit when "winding up". But they stay in my ears, and since I enjoy cycling and working out, they fill that need. In short, they are perfect for the gym and that's where I will use them.
