I was going to wait until I'd used this bag for a while before posting a review should it show signs of wear. We're a bit rough with our bags, especially when we're in a hurry. We've had it for a few months now and it still looks brand new. So far I'm really excited about the bag. I have a busy 2 year old and a young child so I really wanted something hands free to make life easier when running errands by myself. It's also a lot safer not to feel unbalanced when I have to move quickly for a two-year-old. First off, I can't believe I've gone without a handbag for so long. This makes life with young children much easier. Here are some things I really like about the Bag Nation backpack: The bag is roomy and well designed. Inside the bag there are additional compartments for organization. If I were to change anything I would make a couple of the storage pockets in the bag a bit larger to allow for extra diapers and changes of clothes to fit better, but this works well. I like the side pockets for easy access to extra comforters and discarded rags. I never knew how comfortable it would be until I had a baby who spits up as often as my son. I also like the top pocket for things I need quick access to (nasal suction, saline, tissues, emergency snacks :) etc.) - I like that there is a pocket to fit keys or personal items. I like the fact that one of the pockets has velcro so things can be easily stuffed in when my hands are full. I have to hide my sanitizer from my son, so I like that I can easily reach it too. I like when wipes are easily accessible for an unexpected mess or diaper blast. I like the insulated pocket. My son drinks more milk than he needs, not enough to meet his needs on a long trip. It fits a long bottle of Dr. Brown 8 oz bottle and regular 5 oz bottle side by side. I think two wide teat bottles from Dr. Brown pulls the zippers too tight so I didn't try them. I thought it would be better to make it bigger, but then I realized I really didn't want too much width in the bag. This is the perfect size. Now I think this is the perfect size for parents who need to carry around a lot but don't want the bag to be unrealistically bulky. I think it would be great for a day at the zoo, a long drive or a trip to Grandma's. It fits right under the pew, which comes in handy if your bottles are leaking. I like that it doesn't tip over easily when you're looking for something. I like the changing pad. - I can say that my husband is not ashamed to carry it with him. - The quality of the fabric used is excellent. The zippers still appear to be strong. The fabric wipes easily with a Clorox cloth when it gets dirty. It's roomy enough to fit all those things you don't want to carry around and drop in cold weather. coats, extra blankets, warm nursing blankets, hats, mittens, extra clothes, etc.) - I love the hidden zippered pockets inside the bag. They came in handy for things you don't want the little ones to find. Cons: - The price was a bit higher than I would have liked. I think for the benefit and the quality it was worth it for us. If you're on a very tight budget, I think you could easily come up with something similar using a regular backpack with lots of pockets. We hope this will last for us, for all of our children. I think we need to get creative with the tissue box when the kids grow up. The bag is great if you need a bunch on hand, but I realize I usually carry a smaller backpack with just bare cloths. Essentials for very fast activities or excursions. It would be nice if most bags also had an insulated pocket or pocket. However, it is large enough to carry your own insulated bag if needed. If you fill the compartment at the top of the bag (with a flag on it), things in the bag become a little more difficult to get to. back pockets of the bag. I'm just trying not to put very important things in this bag. Overall I am very satisfied with the product. The seller was also polite and helpful. Update: I've had this bag for over a year now and I'm still very happy with it. From the outside the bag looks like new. The only thing that showed signs of wear was the insulated bottle pouch. We're a bit rough with our bags, so I don't know if that would happen to the average person.
