I used to have a phone holder in my car that sucked but the holder was just sticky. It only took a year and I needed to find something that would protect my phone and not have to depend on how sticky the back would be in a cold car. My only complaint is that the case on my Samsung Galaxy S9+ requires me to squeeze the cradle tightly in order for it to hold the phone, but that's how it is. I feel like it could hold it a little tighter, but I haven't had a case of the phone falling out of the holder yet. I can be heard perfectly through the phone's speakers when in the cradle. It was easy to set up and I think without the middle part of the stabilization the phone would vibrate and shake while driving. Once you get that middle section set up perfectly, the phone becomes very resistant to movement.
