Looks like the same product I bought many years ago under a different brand name. It was a BOOCOSA Model # VR-001 recorder with half the storage space. For those with keen ears and those who appreciate the nuance, subtlety and artistry that goes into creating, producing and recording great music, this little recorder can make you feel like you're in a recording studio. However, to get the best possible sound it would be wise to purchase headphones which will likely cost at least double what you paid for this recorder. But since this device gave me instant access to a library of hundreds of songs I had stored on it, the extra cost of a set of quality headphones was worth it. I mostly listen to smooth jazz and use the dictaphone while reading the newspaper, walking, cycling, exercise bikes, light gardening or just relaxing on the patio. I rate the sound quality on a scale of 1 to 5. A rating of 5 is "recording studio" quality when the sound is superb, complex, and stereo. The vocals are clean and rich, the lead guitar, saxophonist, percussionist, backing vocals and backing instrumental make you feel like you're in a recording studio with them live. The bass guitar beats can be felt with your feet and toes. The included headphones are designed for comfort, not designed to produce the highest quality audio, and they do their job well. I put the recorder in my backpack pocket, put on the headphones and enjoyed the music while cycling. In order to achieve quality level 4 ("indoor concert") or higher, the use of high-end headphones is strongly recommended. If you are at home in an armchair, on a terrace or patio, factory headphones, volume #3 or "Car Stereo". That would be fine for most people. If you're pedaling down the street or bike path, the best you can hope for is Level 1 or "portable AM radio" sound quality. However, since the primary purpose of cycling is exercise, scenery, and a safe return home, a level 1 quality should suffice. In fact, wind noise, approaching cars, and warnings from other cyclists and pedestrians are all keys to a safe ride. I was able to easily upload music stored on my computer as MP3 files to BESUE, Windows Media Player. I also used a Dictaphone to take notes of a recent Zoom meeting I attended. I paused the recorder while typing notes and hit play to continue. So far I like the recorder very much. I have not tried all functions. If or when I try other apps I will add another review.
