When my first two children were born, I was always worried when something fell on the floor. I kept napkins nearby when not near the sink. Whenever I was near the sink, I always washed them. However, now my youngest is being raised in the midst of a pandemic and her stuff falling on the floor takes on a whole new meaning. Those little straps are great. They are long enough for your child to move the item freely. However, they are short enough that if they drop or throw an item (toddlers can be fun!) they won't fall to the ground. The bands are made of super soft silicone and are free from rough edges or sharp edges. The bond is good and strong, I don't think a small person can pull hard enough to break it no matter how hard they try. There are many stars on it, so you can attach multiple items. There is also a way to thread the end of the strap through sprockets for toys that don't have a hook or loop. I had no problem with the little one untying the bow or ties so all the toys were off the floor. I can't say enough good things about them, I highly recommend them.
