While using this product I didn't really understand what was going on. How it works is a bit confusing and doesn't provide much information. There are many generalizations about different "ranges" of frequencies, and I've always been looking for more details. At one point I wondered if it was really working as it saw a signal that shouldn't be there. As a simple detector it has some value, but not for close to $300, maybe $100. Since then I've bought a portable RF spectrometer which is amazing and is $100 less.
