Review on 📚 Soutache: 30 Stunning Bead Embroidery Patterns (Lark Jewelry & Beading Bead Inspirations) by Karla Richter

I've always loved soutache but had no idea how to make it. Although I have not yet completed any project in this book, one of the first things I do when I receive a new jewelry book is sit down and study it, noting how easy (or not!) the instructions are seem to be. That's how I did it with this book - and was amazed at how clearly everything was structured! The book begins with a background on the soutache and then continues with a section on the necessary tools. The author stresses the importance of this. is to get a really high quality soutache to have high quality photos. As I mentioned in the title of my review, one of the things I love about this book (and all Lark books) is that the instructions are very detailed, with close-up photos of almost every step in every project. This makes using this book much easier. The only downside is that I wish there were some recommendations on brands or material suppliers. She mentions in the book that her website and the publisher's website have resources listed on their website, but I couldn't find them. Overall though, this is a wonderful book and I want to make every part of it! Soutache is such a great technique and this book is a wonderful book to add to your beading library!
