Review on Sylvania 9012SZ.PB2 9012 Silver Star zXe Halogen Headlight Bulb - Enhanced Visibility, 2 Pack by Tony Wilson

One of my headlights burned out on my 2013 Volt and I was seriously wanting to upgrade the bulb type if possible as I've never felt the amount or quality of light was very good. Especially compared to my Sienna reflector headlights that color the road with tons of light. And the Volt uses projector headlights, which I think should be more efficient than halogen reflectors. My goal was to switch to LEDs. I tried some aftermarket lightbulbs but they didn't work at all. Worse than the originals. The projector headlight design uses a cone reflector, which is best for 360 degree lamp operation. I have not found any LED that offers such a lamp design. And I really didn't want to mess with the HID update. So back to the halogens. These zXEs are a huge improvement and I'm very glad I decided to install them. Installation on the Volt was easy and the quality and quantity of light is much better. Cooler color temperature that looks better on the car and better clarity thanks to a cooler color that's much whiter than the originals. I would definitely use them again. And the cost is very cheap compared to other powerful options. You can't go wrong with these lamps.
