Perfect for the price

4.5/5Excellent value for money. The stand was overall pretty solid for its size and didn't "sag" when I tightened the knobs. It was able to support the weight of my Yeti, my shock and my windshield. I had a couple of very minor issues with the product and what I would call a major issue didn't affect me. I hope the manufacturer takes me seriously and improves their product. Overall, I recommend purchasing this product for those on a tight budget. Teen 1: My pop screen was nicked and slightly out of shape (imagine putting on a hat and you have a stitched piece sticking out at the top). your head). Please reconsider handling and packaging. 2: The windshield wire that screws into the bracket is very loose out of the box and needs to be tightened with a lot of force or it will come loose again. 3: In most cases not all grips are really small and it is quite difficult for people with osteoarthritis and/or big hands to tighten them. Fair1: The round metal part of the clamp that tightens to hold the table mount in place should have some kind of protector or rubber to prevent damaging the table at the bottom. Major (none of my business) 1: I've read most of the reviews and read the instructions fully that in order for the stand to work with most Blue Yetis microphone present, the user must use tape on the threads of the adapter. I would consider this a serious design flaw and very nervous. I avoided this by purchasing a shock absorber that bolted perfectly onto the stand and mic. I highly recommend anyone looking to purchase this stand to purchase a shock absorber. Not only does it work properly, but it also looks a lot more professional and adds an extra port to adjust the angle of the microphone. To the manufacturer, it looks like the folks with threading issues are the ones with Yeti silver mics, leading me to believe this is a manufacturing defect on Blue's part, not Innogear's.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Little touches
