I recently bought my 11 year old daughter the Hot Chillys Pepper Skins Print Crewneck and I have to say I have mixed feelings. On the one hand, the dot and heart print is very cute and playful, just what my daughter wanted. On the other hand, the functional aspect of it was a bit disappointing. Let's start with the good. The crew neck is made of soft and stretchy fabric that feels comfortable. The print is bright and vibrant and my daughter loves wearing it to school and children's parties. The white background looks fresh and clean, especially in combination with bright leggings. What is not so good is the fit. I ordered the size medium which my daughter normally wears but when she tried it on it was snug and a bit short in the arms and torso. I was disappointed that it didn't fit the way I had hoped. Also, the material is thin so it doesn't provide much warmth, which is something to consider when looking for winter outerwear. Overall, I give the Hot Chillys Pepper Skins crew neck three stars. It's a cute and fun top, but its fit and lack of warmth leave a lot to be desired. If you are looking for a playful and trendy piece for your child's wardrobe, this could be a good choice. Just be sure to order one size up if you want a looser fit.
