Kumihimo tried it for the first time. The set includes a large disk, a cute storage bag, instructions and everything you need for your first project (the photo shows my finished braid but I haven't decided how I want to use it yet). At first I wasn't sure if I was doing it right because it was easy enough and of course I thought I was doing it wrong. After a few minutes, however, I saw the formation of a skewer. I'm so glad I started this set! You'll have enough cord to make a short necklace, a double bangle, or two single bangles (although you'll need a second set of connectors and clips). I would definitely buy it again and recommend it for the beginner. Once I finished this one I spent the money on the same bead set.
