This item is NOT designed for the advertised heavy-duty use! It's advertised as 13 amps and 1625 watts, but it's only 10 amps and 1250 watts. It may cause a fire if the customer tries to use this extension cord with an electrical appliance that is not designed for a weak cord like this one. The seller knows about it because I read after the purchase that other people have complained about it. I'm surprised he can still sell them on Amazon. He has to hope people don't notice or bother to return the product. In my case, a lot of trust has been lost.
