The part number listed is not the part you will actually receive!

I just upgraded my 2014 MacBook Air and wanted to save the 120GB SSD that came with the machine as a boot drive. As the documentation and descriptions were difficult to understand, I emailed Sintech and was told that I need to purchase part number: PA-2013-USB3380C. I searched and bought this part from Revain and when it came time to assemble, surprise! The SSD and the case did not match. It appears that the actual part received does not match the one listed by Sintech in Revain under part number PA-2013-USB3380C. I contacted Sintech and brought this to their attention. The solution they suggested was for me to make another payment on their website to get the part I wanted. No apologies for wasting my time, no thanks for bringing this to our attention. Just send me more money for the right part. Luckily at Revain I can return the wrong product. And since I don't trust Sintech, I wouldn't spend anything else on their products. Also, if you are planning on scrapping your 120GB SSD, you should consider the cost of the case compared to buying a new case (standard/generic Apple). 500GB SSD and Sabrent case. You get almost 4 times the capacity for about the same price. And that's exactly what I do.
