I love this blanket! I ordered it for a guest double bed with yellow and white checkered ruffles and pillow pads. The yellow blanket fits just right. The fabric was very loose as received and I was thinking of returning it. The washing instructions were to wash in cold water and tumble dry low. In order to shrink the comforter and thereby rip the fabric off, I washed it in hot water and dried it on the highest setting. Voila! The fabric has stretched significantly but the comforter fits a double bed very well and I suspect it would fit nicely in a queen bed. I hope that future double washing will make the fabric even tighter, but I can't put my finger in the fabric anymore. One reviewer complained about the amount of lint that had accumulated in the lint filter of her dryer. I estimate that the lint extraction is less than flannel sheets or towels on the first wash and therefore not excessive. Even new percale sheets shed a lot of lint; I'm such a cotton character. The price-performance ratio is excellent and the large color space is a clear plus.
