Review on RLSOCO Carrying Case for DJI Mavic Air: Optimal Protection and Portability by Billy Braggs

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Everything else (especially the Mavic) fits perfectly. I didn't feel the need to remove.

The RLSOCO Case is the perfect choice for the Mavic Pro Fly More Combo. In this case, everything included in the kit will do. The two side battery compartments are a bit too narrow, but that doesn't really bother us. Everything else (especially the Mavic) fits perfectly. I didn't feel the need to remove the Mavic's bottom blades and everything is fine when installing and removing the drone. What I like about this case is that the 4th battery (in addition to two in the side compartments and one in the drone) can be stowed under the charging hub. The case is actually designed to hold the battery under the hub (flat, back or top) and the sides of this compartment are stepped so the charging hub sits securely over the battery without touching it. However, if you place a 4th battery in this location, there is not much room between the charging station and the battery for cables from the car charger and/or the 120V AC charger. All of these can still be squeezed in there, but require one fancy cable routing, and some cables will no doubt hang over the AC charger. I agree because only the car charger itself with its cables stacked on top is perfect. out, nice and tidy. During the day in the field I don't need an AC charger (no 120v outlets off the beaten path) so this case is perfect for flying a drone. Four batteries give me over 100 minutes of flight time, and I can charge at least one (and almost a second) with a car charger while flying with two other batteries. a fabric tab (so it can't scratch your stuff). An iPad mini 4 (in a thin protective case) easily fits in here. Plus room for extra blades, USB cables, etc. The case itself is relatively rigid, but not "shockproof" like a real hard case. The included joystick guard is a nice touch, and the controller tray is sized to fit the joystick guard. But even without the joystick protection installed, the controller sits comfortably in its compartment. I have not tried the supplied chassis extensions. All in all, this RLSOCO suitcase is a good choice for a day of flying fun without spending a lot of money.
