I really like that there is room for a phone in the pocket. No more rummaging through your bag. it's right here. I rarely use a laptop sleeve as I don't often take my laptop to class. Instead, I shove all my folders up my sleeve and let my notebooks take up the remaining space. I bought this after my last Jansport backpack started tearing at the bottom from my notebooks being constantly pushed around corners. I didn't notice any signs of wear. it still looks new. I have no regrets buying this backpack. It's not too big but fits all my stuff (5 notebooks, a binder, 5 binders, a paperback textbook and sometimes a laptop). Even with all my school supplies, I always have room for a hoodie or sweater for when it gets chilly, or anything else I might need during class. What I also noticed is that the zipper never tears. I have several other Jansport backpacks and the zipper always gets caught in the fabric. I've been using it for about 3 months now and haven't had this problem.
