This mug is incredibly fun, very durable and well made with a lovely matte finish that looks more stylish than the usual glossy offering. The squat shape and significant weight make it tip-resistant, which is a real plus for those writing or evaluating work over a cup of tea; The only caveat is that it's probably too heavy for a small child or elderly person with weak or sore wrists, especially with hot liquid inside. But then again, the short, wide, wide-mouthed outlines make it so much more than a coffee mug - Beta tested it with oatmeal and haggis (separately) reading Macbeth and it worked great. I look forward to years of swearing at breakfast from this impressive mug, without the expense and inconvenience of marriage.
