My HT Radio Ham (handy talkie ) came with a wrist strap. I am grateful to the manufacturer for its complete set, although honestly I have not found a strap that is as comfortable to wear and use the walkie-talkie. The Mirkit HAM Radio Operator Collar is a much better solution. Although Mirkit claims to be a Baofeng accessory, it fits almost every HT brand that has a body strap holder. It seems pretty durable and comfortable. Carrying a radio on a lanyard seems to make sense. I particularly appreciate the quick release function on the lanyard. The wrist strap couldn't do that and I found it very limited, especially in emergency situations. The Mirkit HAM radio operator neck strap allows me to easily remove the radio from the lanyard and use it solely as a portable device. This is a big advantage.
