This wire basket holds 6-8 ball caps but might hold larger objects equally as well. It is very helpful that the flip handles will allow you to stack two of them. The gauge of the wire is thick and sturdy enough to handle it. I don’t know the max weight it would hold but it would certainly allow you to stack a variety of objects on the top. The wood is very nice and not the light cheap wood often seen on very inexpensive similar products. Overall the quality of this wire basket is really nice and the style of the charcoal color wire with the acacia wood gives it the appearance of a luxury item and not something from a local big box store.
