These bags appear to be very strong but I wouldn't say they are airtight. I filled them halfway with water and laid them on their side on the counter and they dripped a bit around the corners because of the zippers. If they are accidentally turned upside down, the fluid pressure will open the seal and slosh out. However, they're great for dry foods like veggies (which is what we've used them for so far). I wouldn't say they are easy to clean in the dishwasher as I believe they should be on the top shelf and our top shelf isn't low enough to put them on the prongs as advertised so I have them simply hand washed and turned inside out to dry completely. Mickey's design is cute. However, the price seems very high. $60 for a 2 liter bag and 2 sandwich sizes seems like a lot to me. 3 stars due to cost and slight leakage problem, so use is limited to dry items only.
