Let me just say I've spent too much time looking for the perfect duvet cover. After many hours and lots of reading, I typed in "cream duvet cover" and got this because it was the cheapest. I think I've just finished searching. But I have to say I'm impressed with the quality of the fabric. It is very soft and easy to wash/dry before use. The color is so subtle that some might mistake it for "white" when it isn't. This is the perfect "pop" in my bedroom as it matches the color scheme. It's worth it.
