Depends on what you need to track.

As a past Fitbit (Flex) customer and short on cash this year, I knew I couldn't buy a new Fitbit. In an increasingly competitive market, I decided to try a cheaper option, knowing I could easily "get what I paid for". I studied test reports of current Fitbit models and then compared three different cheap trackers from other manufacturers and their test reports and decided on this one. I was torn between giving it 3 or 4 stars at the end of writing this review because it had more "cons" than "pros" and yet I'm glad to leave it. Here is my review after wearing it since Friday October 23rd (so I reserve the right to update this original review). So here it is: First, I highly recommend checking out the product video offered on this Revain listing. It is a real pleasure to show you the packaging, unboxing, size of the watch and many of its features including the app. However, it is incomplete, which is why I am leaving this review. Pros: • Large screen for forward-thinking people (like me) • Pretty versatile features (touchscreen, notifications, heart rate, BP monitor, sleep, etc.). .) • For runners and hikers: It tracks your GPS movements via an app on your phone • Inexpensive for the features offered • The app offered allows you to customize watch faces (including your own wallpaper, see my images) • Notifications for SMS and social apps work (although I didn't buy it for that). Disadvantages: • The manual is printed very small. I've tried viewing the displayed "images" even in my reading glasses AND magnifying glass. I ended up using the copier to enlarge the pages of the booklet and just read the text instructions (which were sufficient). • Big screen for people who like smaller clocks. May be distressing for people trying to wear it at night while sleeping. • Claimed to be waterproof but not recommended for hot/humid showers. So I don't think it's really waterproof. • The app tracks a lot of information but isn't as versatile as the Fitbit app (the product that still shows the sleep function doesn't show the sleep quality, see my photos) • The watch's "Sport" function only has one limited selection and aerobics and weightlifting are NOT included in the listing. These are my two most important exercises. • Activating the 'Sports' tracking feature on the watch does NOT appear to be reflected in the app's 'Movement' data. If you want your activities tracked day by day, you need to start tracking from an app on your phone. • I'm still trying to find a setting that I can program so the watch doesn't light up at night when I move while driving. Dream. Personally, I mainly needed features like heart rate, blood pressure tracking, and sleep tracking. I would really like more robust options and a streamlined view feature in the sports app to track workouts as well. For this money I got what I wanted, I will use it and see how long it lasts. It would have been nice to have the blood oxygen measurement function as well, but that didn't become an obstacle for me. If you can't afford the expensive one, this watch does all the key metrics pretty well. However, it's lackluster when it comes to activity tracking. So if you've been tracking your activity HIGH, this might not be for you.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Some little things
