Large size for a lap blanket

The blanket is nice and soft. I really like that it's larger than most blankets I've had in the past. What I don't like is that the fabric is quite flimsy - you can easily feel the wires through the fabric. They don't fit my furniture as well as I'd like, so I'll probably just put them away when we need electric knee blankets. If I had known I would just put them away and not flaunt them, I would have bought much cheaper ones from Costco. The only difference is the Buffalo Plaid print.
