Review on mysuntown Armless Office Chair: Ergonomic Task Chair with Wheels, Adjustable Black Mesh for Small Computer Desks by Paula Reid

Revainrating 3 out of 5

not for heavy people

I'm 5'11 and weigh 190 pounds and need a chair for WFH. I didn't want to spend too much money on a chair so I went with this one. It's easy to assemble, they supplied an Allen key with screws and it takes no more than 15 minutes. The first day I sat on it for 8 hours I fidgeted a bit and sat on my side. (partly because my Ikea table is pretty small). On the lowest setting it was very low. I had to adjust the chair to its maximum setting to align my arms with the height of the keyboard on the table. My right leg always seems to feel the hard parts of the chair due to the way I sit. On the second day I could feel the wooden underside of the seat. thin seat cushion for meditation. This chair is not designed for long working days. My wife also has one (I bought two together) she is 5'3" and 110 and she says she has no problem but I also tend to think she doesn't care what she sits on. I can sit with my feet touching the floor and my back touching the backrest. It doesn't recline or anything, but it won't support your back either. One good thing is that the seat is only 18" long, so my foot doesn't feel the edge of the seat all the time I hate that feeling because it makes my leg fall asleep from the pressure of the seat on the seat the lower part of my legs I return the chair hoping to have a chair with me to find a better pad. If you use this chair occasionally for short periods (2-4 hours) and need a smaller chair then this is your chair. I need something I can sit in for 8+ hours and I definitely don't like this chair.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • poorly thought out
