I bought this chair on sale and was very skeptical because of the low price - almost too good to believe. I was very pleasantly surprised to receive a nicely made, good looking chair, albeit a lightweight one. Do you need this chair if you spend 8 hours in the office? Probably not, although it's possible. I use this chair in my home office for maybe two hours a day and find it very comfortable and the mechanics work smoothly. It is quite easy to assemble, no defects or problems have been found yet. Finally, I'm relatively short at 5'7" and 155 pounds, and the chair fits me very well. Taller individuals will likely want a heavier seat, so I highly recommend this for short people for home use for several hours a day.
