Big Enough - Trees

Got this for my 14-15 lb cat. It's been 2 days but he didn't wake up at all and surprisingly he didn't freak out because something new was added. When I opened the box he immediately sat down on things to explore. He seemed more interested than frightened by the smell and started rubbing against everything around him. It took me 5 minutes to assemble and an hour to remove the top perch from the pole. I decided to remove the top bed but leave the perch because there wasn't much room between the bed and the top of the tube for my cat to stand up or jump in there. I saved the pole in case he wants to scratch it. I am very happy with the size of the tube and the beds. The tube is big enough to stand up, he only has to squat a little and he can easily turn around in it without sticking his face out the window. I think the tube window is big enough for him to climb through if he tries. Other perches can hold it very easily without knocking it out of its sides like its old tree did. There's even extra room for him to spread out in the middle. The only thing that let me down was how close together the middle perch and snorkel are. The tube hangs slightly above the center tube, meaning it doesn't have much room to bounce. It's ok to get into the pipe, but I'm not sure if he can jump straight up to get to the top of the pipe. For now I'm keeping his old scratching post next to his new one as a platform to jump off, but maybe he'll be more comfortable in the future. Overall I really like it and he's already jumping to the top of the tube if he's interested in a toy up there and I've found him in the middle and dozing before.
