Review on AVerMedia Live Gamer ULTRA GC553: 4Kp60 HDR Pass-Through Capture Card with Ultra-Low Latency for PS4 Pro and Xbox One X Recording and Streaming. by Evan Larson

I'm not very familiar with this brand although I had a VGA video converter from them decades ago that was decent. When I was looking for a replacement for my ElGato HD60 (which I rate with 1 star), I found what I was looking for at Revain. I haven't heard much about this device, haven't seen many video producers or streamers talking about it, but I gave it a try since I've had so many problems with ElGato. The thing works great. The video quality is excellent, there is practically no lag. I can play games in the preview window without any problems. The device is very compact and stylish, and I like that it only needs USB power. OBS works fine. I had some audio buffering on my front USB, but the rear USB was fine, so give that a try if the sound isn't great. I will say that I have not tried 4K. It's really a shame that it only supports 30fps recording in 4K and for gaming I'd prefer 60fps HD, but it could be a useful product for those who need 4K if 30fps will do.
