I noticed a puddle of water under my car and realized it was coming from the water pump. I figured I'd have to spend $200-300 to fix it. Guess I don't care how good you are, anyone can change that water pump. It sits right on the engine and all the bolts are easily accessible. It took less than 30 minutes to remove and replace the pump. I no longer have a leak and can look forward to many years to come. FYI, I recommend that when you replace the water pump, you also replace the thermostat. The exchange takes less than 5 minutes and ensures you don't have to do it later.
