They are great, just wish they were a little thicker and stronger. We will use them as disposables for our wedding. Absolutely not sacrificing looks, but I will say you can double them. We're doing a buffet and I'm concerned that these plates can't support much weight before breaking in half. Of course, they're not wafer-thin, they're made of thin plastic, so be careful. I'm still very happy with my purchase and will probably buy again because the looks are great.
