This panel fits the Y50 perfectly! Installation took less than 5 minutes - this is my first exchange and I can probably do it again in 2-3 minutes. There are some great youtube videos showing the process for the Y50. Pros: - Easy to do - Right price - Great viewing angles and much better color reproduction - WAY, WAY better contrast and color saturation than the OEM POS panel - Best of all, there should be some changes to the graphics card's scalability features if they connected to this panel - NO MORE FUZZY DIALOGUE WINDOWS! - Now everything is clear and in focus! Cons: - tiny, and I mean VERY tiny backlight highlights in one corner of the screen. Nothing but is present on over 75% of all laptops I've owned. Completely unnoticed unless I have a completely black screen, and what's the point? Verdict: Lenovo should be ashamed of the yellowish, low-contrast TN OEM screen on a great laptop's POS hardware. This upgrade should be done by everyone!
