Review on Effortless Grooming Precision with Philips Norelco MG7791/40 Multi Groomer – No Blade Oil Required - 29 Piece Men's Grooming Kit by April Andrews

Revainrating 5 out of 5

works better on dry hair

I just tested another electric hair clipper and didn't give it a very good rating. This one is very similar but with some significant improvements. This is a multi groomer designed to shave all body hair. Many heads and many nozzles are provided for this. Here's what I like about it: - It has a head for the beard, one for the head, one specifically for the body hair, one for the mustache, one for the nose. / Ears and one for shaving. - Body hair is ideal for sensitive areas. - Carry case for the whole package looks and feels good. (oblique) - Does not heat up, does not require oil. My least favorites were: - Not very effective on wet hair. It kicks in almost immediately. - A bit heavy, not very ergonomic - Lots of accessories to go through before you find what you are looking for. My wife used it to cut my hair like she always does for me. Her first comment upon viewing was "looks good", her second was "it's a bit heavy and weird to hold when you cut your hair". My hair was wet and she tried to cut it a bit; The head was pounding very quickly. We stopped and I dried my hair a bit before she turned it back on and it worked much better. She felt noticeably better. It took me a little longer to cut my hair than the regular one (another Philips Norelco but designed for cutting) but it did a good job. She fought a lot less with my ears with special appendages. I also used it on a very sensitive area and it got the job done with no effort, no pain or cuts. Conclusion: This hair clipper will regularly be in my bathroom drawer. use. I won't pack all the accessories in my bag, just the ones I use the most. 4 stars.
